Our founding team is in Jacksonville, Florida. But we have branches in Colorado Springs, CO, and Nassau, Bahamas.
Yes! Our programs are free! We aim to make accessible all our resources and programs. We do this by making them free to the public.
***However, our EVENTS may have a charge for ADULTS only to cover cost like food, venue, etc.
For virtual events, you do need either your phone or a computer to interact with us via video software such as Google Meets or Zoom. Some programs do require additional technical requirements but we will always tell you what you need in order to participate.
Yes. If you are a guardian of a child that is 18 years or younger, you must sign our available permission slip and waiver in order for your child to participate. We take the safety of children extremely serious and will not meet with your child unless there is an appropriate verified guardian present. Also, we make it a mission to get parents involved as we want to ensure all kids are healthy, safe, and protected both in real life and online.
Additionally, our team is bound under Florida, United States Law where Global Patch was founded to report any suspicions or known activities of abuse or negligence. All of our team members are background checked and we do not have any team member come in contact with your child that hasn't passed a federal level 2 & 3 background check. Our Founder and Leadership Team are mandatory reporters, so your child is safe with us at all times.
Yes! We have several partners and champions who provide skills and programs for adults interested in careers in video games esports, etc. However, we also will connect adults to resources for those that are seeking to transition into technology.
Global Patch will have open house workshops to answer parents burning questions about all things STEAM and that especially includes video games, esports, streaming, interactive media, etc.
Absolutely Not! Again, we take the privacy and safety of all of our community participants and members very serious. We will never share or publish your information.
Yes! But you must be able to pass a background check. Additionally, you must be able to commit at least 2-5 hours a week at Global Patch. We will provide you with a supportive letter and a reference after successful completion of your time with us.
